Birthday treat to london I hope you too can enjoy the places, sights and eateries I visited on my most recent trip to the big smoke. Pictured below "L'Opera" was the first place we went for some lunch. This place is a must when in London a little Greek haven, with wall to wall delights from sweet to savoury all freshly prepared and heavenly to eat, a real treat!!!

            

 Pictured above the walk down from the subway in knightsbridge to our gorgeous hotel only 5 mins walk away and perfectly located opposite the V&A museum. . .

Why oh why are there not more shops that look like this in the "North East". . . I just love love love everything about this. Bring back the day when you got your bread from the bakers, candles from the candlestick makers and meat from your local butchers!!! 

Would love to see the back of supermarket chains. PLEASE!

Graffiti or is this just some true works of art . . . the sheer size and scale of these pieces are huge ad the detail and over all effect is stunning. These portraits are sure stroll stoppers when walking around London. Where is the line when you look at art like this on huge canvases which are building walls and you don't look at it and call it graffiti . . . vandalism but just genius art work?

Another love of mine is drawing if I ever have a spare minute I will draw down some ideas or just play around with shapes, sometimes the best design or drawings come when your not really thinking. 

I can say I am at my happiest when I am being creative, whether it be drawing, editing, photographing, making or buying they all play a part in feeding my hunger to create something new and see it all come to realisation. Below you can see some more of my sketches and drawings I hope you like?!

Dress them up with skinny jeans and tweed blazer for a preppy day look or a smock dress and leather biker jacket for a rock look so versatile and who would have though it. . . from Clarks!!!

Inspirations

Here are some images I have found this week that have really inspired me I hope you like them too. . .

I love everything about this image, the beautiful pink tones give it such a warm feel and the contrast in different metal jewellery works so well with theses tones and simple clothing and hair. 

This picture inspired me to try something new today with my hair  . . . 

I dare say I haven't worn my hair like this since last in plates but I really like it. . .

Spring /Summer rail . . . 2012

Aaaaaaagh this image reminds me I should be dusting of all my lovely sheers and laced tops ready for some warmer times ahead. Out with all the darks and winter colour time to shake up my seasonal rail with some much loved pastilles perfect and bang on trend for this coming season

KNITTING

Starting something new. . . 

After seeing this image it actually inspired me to start knitting, I am now the proud owner of some very fancy 'Extra Large" knitting needles . . . Wool at the ready!!
